LumiParser is operated by Helioscore LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use lumiparser.com and its associated API (collectively, the "Service").

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and any profile information you provide. Authentication is handled by Supabase.

Documents you upload

When you upload invoices, receipts, purchase orders, or bank statements, those files are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 object storage. They are accessible only to your account via time-limited signed URLs. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

Parsed data

The structured data extracted from your documents (e.g. vendor names, amounts, dates) is stored in our database and associated with your account.

Usage data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, document parse counts, and API request logs. This data is used to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe provides us with a customer ID and subscription status. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics, which sets cookies to track pageviews, session recordings, and feature usage. You can opt out of session recording by contacting us. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Process your documents using AI and return structured data.
• Manage your account, subscription, and billing.
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, subscription receipts, cancellation notices) via Resend.
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent misuse.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We share your information only with the service providers necessary to operate LumiParser:

We may also disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of LumiParser, our users, or the public.

We retain your account data and parsed documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and uploaded files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

API logs and usage records may be retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS-only access, time-limited signed URLs for file access, and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability — export your parsed data as JSON from the dashboard at any time.
• Objection — object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

LumiParser is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard. The updated policy will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
